Six militants killed in Tirah blitz by security forces

TIRAH: At least six militants were killed and five others injured following bombardment of militant hideouts by security forces in Tirah valley of Khyber Agency on Sunday.

According to official sources, PAF jets and heavy artillery targeted militant hideouts which obliterated a gathering point of militants. Six militants were killed in the blitz while five others were injured. The killed troops belonged to Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) Pakistan.

The claims by security forces could not be identified independently because of the remote location and inaccessibility of media.
