DI KHAN: A spokesman for Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) denied report about threats to Imran Khan, saying that the Taliban did not need sympathy of the libera,l who they consider as infidel.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the TTP spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan admitted that he had given an interview to a reporter of foreign news agency, but he never said that the TTP would kill him if he came to Waziristan.
In reply to a question about our reaction to Imran Khan’ss visit, the Spokesman said that he told the reporter that the Shurah of TTP would decide our reaction one week before the arrival of Imran Khan. He said that they don't have any sympathy with Imran Khan and they do not need his sympathy as he himself claim to be liberal. He said, “we consider liberals as Infidels.” The reporter, he said, added the death threat by himself while ignoring the journalism norms. He tried to break a good news for his publicity and it showed his immorality.” We condemn such behavior by media men that they misreporting our stance.”
