Pak army and Isaf enjoys cordial relations: Gen John Allen
KABUL: Isaf commander in Afghanistan General John Allen has said Pakistan army and Isaf has cordial relations. He said if Paksitan army initiated military operation in North Waziristan, they are ready to secure the Pak-Afghan border.
The Isaf commander said Salala attack was a mistake on both sides. He said forces have been deployed along the Pak-Afghan border to stop terrorists infiltration once offensive is launched.
He said the impression in Pakistan regarding Salala attack is wrong. It was a mistake on both sides.
Gen Allen said he along with Afghan army head Gen Sher Muhammad Karimi held fruitful discussions with Army chief Kiyani during recent visit.
