President summons party meeting tonight
ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari summoned for Tuesday night a meeting of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders in the President House.
According to sources, the meeting would mull over the political situation of the country with special focus on the controversial NRO-implementation case being heard in the Supreme Court.
The meeting is also expected to discuss strategy over the upcoming general elections, sources added.
The meeting would be attended by Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Naveed Qamar, Jehangir Badar, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Khursheed Shah, Manzoor Watoor, Nazar Muhammad Gondal, Rehman Malik and other party leaders.
