ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf said Pakistan was keen to further strengthen its relationship with the United Kingdom in all areas. He was talking to British High Commissioner to Pakistan Adam McClure Thomson who called on him here at the PM House on Thursday and discussed bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest. The Prime Minister recalled his meeting with his British counterpart David Cameron during his visit to Kabul and termed it useful and constructive. He said the two countries have historic ties that would continue to strengthen in the days ahead. The Prime Minister lauded the British Government for successfully holding London Olympics 2012. The British High Commissioner congratulated the Prime Minister on the assumption of the office of the Prime Minister and said Britain and Pakistan enjoy close relationship.(APP)
