Nisar criticize commission for new provinces
ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said Fata and Hazara should be included in the commission’s mandate constituted to oversee the creation of new provinces.
Speaking to media in Islamabad, Nisar criticised the commission formed by National Assembly Speaker. He said the formation of commission is a hypocritical move.
The opposition leader said ‘Zardari-league is not interested in the formation of new provinces, the purpose is to make the football of provinces and to sideline PML-N.’
Nisar further said that his party had not sent the names for commission, adding that PML-N is in support of Bahawalpur and South Punjab. There is pressure for Fata and Hazara provinces as well, he added.
If the Commission was constituted for the formation of new provinces in Punjab then what is the role of Farooq Sattar and Haji Adeel, he asked.
He said that PML-N should be given half representation in the commission and all the members should be included from Punjab.
