Cross border attack: Security forces kill six militants in Chitral
CHITRAL: At least six terrorists were killed when militants attacked a Pakistani military checkpost along the Pak-Afghan border near Gambir and Angorbut sectors of Afghanistan, Khyber News reported Wednesday.
In an earlier attack militants stormed a security checkpost in Arando area of Chitral, which was retaliated. In a second attack in Ghambir and Angorbut sector at least six militants were killed.
Security officials said militants escaped after the attack and left the dead bodies of their associates.
