KPK Police receive bomb defusing robots
PESHAWAR: Bomb Disposal Unit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has received three bomb defusing robots, Khyber News reported on Saturday.
Assistant Inspector General Bomb Disposal Unit, Shafqat Malik said British High Commission has gifted three bomb defusing units to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police.
He said the robots will be included in the Bomb Disposal Squad on July 23. The robotic bomb-disposal squads would enable diffusing of IEDs, saving any possible losses of precious human lives during dismantling of explosive devices.
