Security ramped up in Peshawar after Kamra attack
PESHAWAR: In the aftermath of Kamra Airbase attack, security in Peshawar’s Cantonment area was ramped up and alerted here on Thursday.
According to ASP Cantonment, Faisal Shahzad, security was beefed up at Bacha Khan International Airport, airbases, Sardar area and other facilities. ASP Shahzad said that additional security contingents were already posted at different places ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, adding that additional sentries were deployed at civil aviation airports and other airbases in the provincial capital.
