Six of a family killed over marriage dispute in Nowshera
NOWSHERA: At least six persons of a family were killed in Watar of district Nowshera on Monday area over a smoldering animosity stemming from a love marriage over two years ago.
According to Khyber News correspondent, five people including three women Rahima, Sherish, Asma and two men Shahzad and Ejaz were fired up by assailants from armed men allegedly from the girl’s family. One Salman and Rahima entered holy matrimony out of love two year ago. Rahima’s family was not happy with the marriage and two year after on the second day of Eid in the area, disgruntled armed men barged into the house of Salman killing five residents by spraying them with bullets.
Salman’s aunt after learning about the incident could not stand the shock and passed away after a cardiac arrest.
Police registered a case against the attackers and raided suspected hideouts to apprehend the culprits.
