Blast in Matani, no casualty reported

PESHAWAR: A bomb explosion during early hours in Matani area partially damaged a house on Friday.

Security personnel and rescue teams arrived at the scene. However, no casualties were reported in the blast.

Police sources said that militants had planted a bomb on the boundary wall of a house.

A day earlier, a bomb that had been planted on a motorcycle was defused by security personnel.

Police source claimed that had the bomb exploded it could have caused immense damage.
