Govt adamant to eradicate polio: Qaim Ali Shah
KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said incumbent government was adamant to eradicate polio from the country, Khyber News reported on Wednesday.
He made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation of World Health Organisation (WHO). He assured the delegation that all measures would be taken to ensure security of UN officials participating in the polio campaigns.
The chief minister said Sindh government was taking steps at the grass root level for polio eradication. All government departments, polio teams have been given specific targets and negligence in this regard will not be tolerated, he said.
