One killed, six injured in Karachi road accidents
KARACHI: One person was killed and six other injured in different road accidents in Karachi on Saturday.
According to report, a Suzuki high roof collided with another vehicle in Landhi area, in which one person was killed and three others injured.
An over speeding bus collided with another high roof at Gharibabad under by-pass that injured three persons including a woman. The injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment.
Traffic police removed the damaged vehicles from the road and resumed traffic.
Meanwhile, at least four people were killed in incidents of violence in various parts of the city.
In Landhi Town, unknown gunmen shot a man dead whereas a senior doctor was gunned down near Al-Asif square near Sohrab Goth.
In another incident in New Karachi Town, one man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting incident. The area became tense in the aftermath of the shooting and protesting residents came out on the streets.
One man was killed in Landhi Town’s Sherpao Colony.
