Explosion near Chinese consulate in Karachi injures 2
KARACHI: At least two Ranger personnel were injured when a bomb strapped to a motorcycle parked near the Chinese consulate in Clifton area exploded, police said Monday.
According to police, explosives were strapped to a motorcycle which was parked near the Chinese consulate in Clifton area. The bomb exploded and injured two Ranger personnel who were shifted to hospital for treatment.
Three motorcycles and a car was destroyed in the attack.
Bomb Disposal Squad and Ranger contingents have arrived at scene initiated investigation.
The Inspector General Police Sindh announced a bounty of Rs1 million for those who may prove to be helpful in snaring the culprits behind the blast.
