Next elections will be held on time: President Zardari
KHAIRPUR: President Asif Ali Zardari said Sunday the next general elections would be held on schedule and would
be free, fair and transparent, Khyber News reported.
President Zardari was addressing a public gathering in Khairpur. He said Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will win the next elections.
He said he knows that load shedding is a big problem and government was working to resolve it. He said Sindh is a stronghold of the PPP and expressed confidence PPP will sweep the upcoming elections as it has served masses following the vision of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
The President said opponents of PPP are unnerved but they will continue the policy of reconciliation. He further said that several mega projects had been launched for economic development.
