No knowledge about missing persons, ISI tells SHC

KARACHI: The Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) presented an affidavit in the Sindh High Court (SHC), saying that it had no knowledge about the ‘missing’ persons.

The SHC was hearing the case pertaining to the‘missing’ persons on Thursday.

The court issued contempt of court notices to the police officials. The SHC directed the Inspector General (IG) Sindh Police to take personal interest in the case.

The court also directed the authorities to contact the telecom operators for the call records of the ‘missing’ persons.

The SHC issued a contempt of court notice to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Special Investigation Unit (SIU). The hearing was subsequently adjourned till August 20.
