Two Jaffaria alliance Pakistan activists killed in Karachi

KARACHI: At least two persons including Jaffaria Alliance Pakistan (JAP) leader were killed in a targhet killing incident in Saddar area of Karachi while three dead trussed up corpses were found from Kareemabad, Khyber News reported Tuesday. 
According to police sources, unknown armed motorcyclists opened fire on a car near parking plaza in Saddar area, as a result of which Agha Aftab Haider Jaffri and Mirza Shahid Ali were killed. 
General Secretary JAP Syed Shabbar Raza Zaidi protested the incident and told that Agha Aftab Haider Jaffri was one of the JAP leaders. He said that the government had failed in providing security to the citizens. 
On the other hand, three trussed up bodies were found stuffed in gunny bags from Kareemabad under the bridge. The victims were kidnapped and tortured to death.
Acting on a tip-off the security forces raided hideouts in Pehalwan Goth area of Gulistan-e-Jauhar. During the operation, the miscreants exchanged fire with the Rangers that injured two, including a security guard and an armed assailant. Ranger personnel were successful in arresting the injured attacker.
Spokesman of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat also told that the law enforcement agencies have raided Jamia Ashraf-ul-Madaris and protested the action.
