Dost Khosa leaves PML-N
LAHORE: Former Chief Minister Punjab, Dost Muhammad Khosa resigned from the party membership of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) here on Friday.
According to sources, Khosa sent his resignation to the PML-N Punjab office but will remain a member of provincial assembly (MPA). Khosa family sources disclosed that Dost Khosa excused himself from meeting the top leadership of the PML-N.
On Thursday, a PML-N meeting chaired by Nawaz Sharif in Murree discussed the resignation of Dost Muhammad’s father Zulfiqar Khosa from the party. It is expected that Nawaz Sharif will meet with Zulfiqar Khosa when he returns to Lahore.
In April, Dost Khosa had to forfeit his post as chief minister Punjab following the charges brought by the Lahore High Court (LHC) against him in the kidnapping and murder of actress and ex-wife Sapna.
