MQM invites PTI to Nine-Zero, all parties conference. |

LAHORE: A delegation of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Tuesday called on top leadership of the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf and invited the PTI to its proposed All Parties Conference (APC).
The MQM delegation led by federal minister Farooq Sattar called on PTI leaders Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Javed Hashmir in Lahore. The MQM team invited the PTI leaders to all parties conference. However, the PTI leaders told them that it the party will take a decision after consultations with the top leadership.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Farooq Sattar, Deputy Convener for the MQM, said that Pakistan is currently facing internal as well as external threats. Sattar said the objective of meeting with all political parties was to bring them together for the proposed All Parties Conference (APC) to solve the countries problems.
The PTI president Javed Hashmi said that a shadow of fear had engulfed the nation. Hashmi said that the PTI would contest the elections alone; however, they are prepared for talks with other political parties to rescue the country from the pending crisis.
Speaking at the same occasion, PTI vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that he welcomed the fact that a coalition partner of the government was concerned about the country’s problems.
The MQM delegation also invited PTI Chairman Imran Khan and party members to visit Nine Zero, the MQM head offices in Karachi. The PTI said it would also convey the invitation to the top leadership.
