DPC continues protest enroute to Chaman against Nato supply

QUETTA: The Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC) on Sunday continued its protest march against Nato supply reopening on way to Chaman from Quetta, Khyber News reported.


Led by Maulana Samiul Haq, the protesters left from Quetta on Saturday, stopped at Yaaro tonight and would resume its march to Chaman early morning on Monday.


Strict security measures have been taken for the long march which was part of the second phase of the long march announced by DPC.

After the first phase when DPC marched to Islamabad, the second phase, which will hold marches from Quetta to Chaman, Karachi to Hyderabad, Multan to Dera Ghazi Khan, Sargodha to Mianwali, Peshawar to Khyber Pass, Rawalpindi to Chakwal Talagang, Faisalabad to Sargodha, Khushab and Islamabad is underway.
