Eight killed in Mach bus-truck collision
QUETTA: At least eight people were killed when a passenger bus slammed into a lorry on the National Highway patch near Mach Tehsil of Balochistan here on Tuesday.
According to details, the accident happened when brakes of the condemned bus failed to engage properly sending the bus swirling out of control before colliding with the truck.
The bus has left Sukkar for Quetta while the accident happened about 75 kilometers east of Quetta.
Two women were among the dead and 13 people were injured in the accident. The injured were shifted to hospitals in Quetta.
Law enforcement agencies initiated a preliminary investigation into the accident.
